Type V: Shoulder harness rated to 1,200 lbs. and quick-release rescue belt with a stainless O-ring make this a serious swiftwater rescue vest. As with the Sherman, the p-Vest’s back panel has been designed for comfort. Large front pocket holds all your essentials or an optional implant for an extra 2 lbs. 8 oz. of flotation. Design Flotation: 16lbs. 4oz. (18lbs. 7oz. with implant) Rescue PFDs are Coast Guard approved for rescue use. Activities in which they are used are inherently dangerous and life-threatening. No life vest alone can prevent injury or death.
