Men’s Synapse Snowboard Boot
While significantly stiffer than traditional freestyle boots, Salomon’s Synapse is the boot for guys who like to ride it all in a single run. In the last few seasons Salomon built upon the Synapse’s reputation for versatility by adding exceptional comfort features, including a Biocage liner with heat moldable Bio custom fit. The Bio Custom Fit design is virtually the same as the Bio Custom Fit Pro that you find in the top-end Malamute boot, except you don’t have the custom ankle inserts. The Synapse features a supportive and anatomically contoured Ortholite footbed made from light density foam with a micro-rubber compound. The Powerlace pro soft lacing system is a customizable, dual zone lace system that has user-friendly blocking system that simplifies lace adjustments faster than the normal Powerlace Pro. There’s also a one-pull quicklace feature that simplifies the closure. Beneath everything is an ultra-sensitive Sensiflex outsole with rubber metatarsus pods that work as sensors between your board and the bottoms of your feet. Like the Fusion boots, the Synapse also features Salomon’s exclusive ADIPRENE compound to help absorb impacts from big air landings.
